Glass Tolerances and Glass Standards:
All glass is cut and toughened to industry standards. Minor variations in size and shape may occur. Specifications are available upon request.
All our toughened glass is legally required to carry a small manufacturer’s stamp to confirm that it meets British Safety Standard BS EN 12150. The stamp is discreetly etched onto the corner or edge of the glass during the toughening process and cannot be removed without damaging the glass. We always position the mark in an unobtrusive location, so it has minimal visual impact while still ensuring full compliance and traceability.
During the toughening process, glass can develop a slight natural bow. This is a normal characteristic of toughened glass and is within the acceptable tolerances set by industry standards.
Finish Variations:
The exact finish or colour of hardware may vary depending on the manufacturer and the type of metal. Some coatings are hand-finished and may include minor imperfections that are unique to each product.
"Hardware Colour Disclaimer
Please note that hardware colours may vary between manufacturers. It is the Buyer’s responsibility to ensure the correct colour is selected when ordering. If unsure, please contact hello@showerdoorbuilder.com to request a colour chip. Colour chips are available for purchase."
"Note: Hinges used in our products are not watertight and are not designed to have water directed at them. Take care when planning your shower setup to avoid direct water exposure to these components."
The Goods we supply are made to order and are therefore exempt from standard cooling-off periods and Distance Selling Regulations related to returns.
Please note
Our system is fully automated. Once your order is placed, it goes straight into production and cannot be changed, amended, or cancelled. We operate a 24 hour production line to handle order volumes.
If you wish to exchange your hardware (e.g. change handles or finishes), this may be allowed only if the items are unused, as new, and remain in their original packaging.
The Company’s total liability under the Contract shall not exceed the price of the Goods. The Company shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or economic loss.
